English/Spanish learning programs

In partnership with MARS Early Learning Academy, Rainier Beach Community Resource Center offers a bilingual early childhood program designed to help young children grow academically, socially, and culturally from their very first learning experiences.Our English/Spanish dual-language classrooms immerse children in both languages throughout the day. Through storytelling, music, play-based learning, and guided exploration, children develop early literacy and communication skills while building confidence in a multicultural environment. Research shows that dual-language education strengthens cognitive development, problem-solving abilities, and cultural awareness, giving children a powerful foundation for future academic success.MARS Early Learning Academy is a BIPOC-led, woman-owned early education program dedicated to serving families across Southeast Seattle. Many of our educators are native Spanish speakers, creating a learning space where language, culture, and community are celebrated every day.Beyond academics, our program focuses on whole-child development. Teachers nurture curiosity, creativity, and emotional growth while helping children build strong friendships and a sense of belonging. Families are welcomed as partners in the learning journey through regular communication, cultural events, and community engagement.Together, RBCR and MARS Early Learning Academy are working to ensure that every child enters kindergarten confident, culturally grounded, and ready to thrive.
